Pending Submissions

Every submission you reject is kept here with its reason and date, so you can look someone up if they follow up. Restore one to Pending, or delete it permanently.

Who signed in and what they did - approvals, updates, rejections, and helper changes. Owner only.

How many people opened the site from each QR code or tagged link. Put a code on a flyer or sign as drgaragesale.com/?s=CODE (or use it as a plain link) and its scans show up here. Owner and Admin only.

Help / FAQ Page

Edit the public Help & FAQ page. Put **double asterisks** around words to make them bold. Click Save Help page to publish; everyone sees the change.

Every response to the site surveys lands here a few seconds after someone clicks Submit. The whole organizer team can read them. Only an Owner can delete one. The surveys are built in Tally. The links the Give Feedback button uses are under Survey Links at the bottom of this tab.

Survey Links

The gold Give Feedback button in the header opens the suggestion form until the sale starts, then switches to the post-sale survey on its own. To swap in a new form for a new season, paste its share link below and click Save survey links. Leave a box blank to go back to the built-in link.

Changing the questions: edit the form at tally.so, signed in as contact@drgaragesale.com. Only an Owner or Admin can change the links here. A brand-new Tally form needs its webhook connected once before its responses show up above.

Account & Password

Signed in as . To change or reset your password, send yourself a secure reset link by email (works even if you forget it - use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen).

Organizer Team

Who is on the organizer team and how to reach them. Only an Owner can add people or change levels.

Team / Users

Add helpers who get their OWN sign-in. A Helper can review Pending, Listings, and Rejected only. An Admin can also edit Sale Info & Zones, import sellers, and view the Activity log, but cannot manage users, geocode, back up/restore, or clear listings. Only you (the Owner) can do those. Adding someone creates an invite link that you copy and send yourself. The link sets their password and signs them in, works once, and expires in 7 days.

Seller Emails

Sellers are emailed only when you approve their listing or apply their update, or when you click Send below. Nothing goes out on submit or reject. Emails come from contact@drgaragesale.com, and replies come back there.

Email Wording

Send to Everyone Not Emailed Yet

For listings approved while emails were off. Each seller gets one email for their listing type. Only types that are switched on are included.

Artisan Club Booth Check

Once a day at 8:05 AM, the Artisan Club gets one email listing new Artisan Market booth requests (skipped on days with none). Each vendor has Confirm and Not registered buttons. Confirm marks the booth confirmed here, so you can approve it. Not registered flags it in red. You still approve every listing. This email includes the vendor's name, email and address, because the Club needs them to check its list.

Future Sale List

Sellers who left "Keep me in the loop" checked on the sign-up form. Nothing is sent automatically. Use this if you, or whoever runs the next sale, want to announce it. Download the list before clearing listings for a new season, because clearing listings clears this list too.

Sale Info

Zones

Create, edit, recolor, and remove sale zones. Two kinds: a Map zone is a drawn area and a sale's zone comes from its address; a Venue is one shared address many sellers share (like the Trading Post), with the seller's own address hidden. Saving re-files every listing into its zone. Listings you set a zone on by hand are left alone.

Change Admin PIN

PIN Recovery

Set a security question and answer. If you ever forget your PIN, you can answer this question to reveal it on the lock screen.

Geocoding

Re-geocode all listings that don't yet have coordinates. Requires API key to be set.

Import Sellers (.xlsx)

ADDS rows from a spreadsheet as approved listings. Columns are matched by header name: Address (required), Items, Payment, Seller name, Email, Notes, Zone, and optionally Date added. Run "Geocode All Listings" afterward to map them.

Backup & Restore

A backup is one .json file holding ALL your data - every listing, every pending and rejected submission, and your settings. Your live data already lives in the cloud (Firebase); a backup is an extra safety copy you can save before big changes or use to move data. Restoring REPLACES everything with the file.
