Pending Submissions

Every submission you reject is kept here with its reason and date, so you can look someone up if they follow up. Restore one to Pending, or delete it permanently.

Who signed in and what they did - approvals, updates, rejections, and helper changes. Owner only.

How many people opened the site from each QR code or tagged link. Put a code on a flyer or sign as drgaragesale.com/?s=CODE (or use it as a plain link) and its scans show up here. Owner and Admin only.

Help / FAQ Page

Edit the public Help & FAQ page. Put **double asterisks** around words to make them bold. Click Save Help page to publish; everyone sees the change.

Zones

Create, edit, recolor, and remove sale zones. Two kinds: a Map zone is a drawn area and a sale's zone comes from its address; a Venue is one shared address many sellers share (like the Trading Post), with the seller's own address hidden. Saving re-files every listing into its zone. Listings you set a zone on by hand are left alone.

Signed in as . To change or reset your password, send yourself a secure reset link by email (works even if you forget it - use "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen).

Team / Users

Add helpers who get their OWN sign-in. A Helper can review Pending, Listings, and Rejected only. An Admin can also edit Sale Info & Zones, import sellers, and view the Activity log, but cannot manage users, geocode, back up/restore, or clear listings. Only you (the Owner) can do those. Adding someone emails them a link to set their own password.

Set a security question and answer. If you ever forget your PIN, you can answer this question to reveal it on the lock screen.

Geocoding

Re-geocode all listings that don't yet have coordinates. Requires API key to be set.

Import Sellers (.xlsx)

ADDS rows from a spreadsheet as approved listings. Columns are matched by header name: Address (required), Items, Payment, Seller name, Email, Notes, Zone, and optionally Date added. Run "Geocode All Listings" afterward to map them.

Backup & Restore

A backup is one .json file holding ALL your data - every listing, every pending and rejected submission, and your settings. Your live data already lives in the cloud (Firebase); a backup is an extra safety copy you can save before big changes or use to move data. Restoring REPLACES everything with the file.
